Underwater diving
This was one of Bostrom's first areas of operation and is today divided into construction diving and rescue and salvage diving. Construction diving consists of all types of underwater tasks such as drilling, blasting, moulding, casting, salvage, measurement, documentation, cleansing, searching and examinations. Rescue and salvage diving consists of emergency missions for rescue services, the Swedish Lifeboat Senvice, police departments, the Swedish Coast Guard, the Swedish Armed Forces and many others at drownings, boating or traffic accidents, landslides, "special missions" etc. In addition, the company has for many years provided around-the-clock underwater rescue teams for a number of different rescue squads that have either never had, or disbanded their own underwater teams. These missions can range from diving in water or sludge, to warm or cold oil, chemicals, gas etc.
